Happy Monday! Did you all have a good weekend?

I did. Not anything earthshaking, but just an all-around good weekend.
One thing that made it good was that I was able to spend some time with a friend I hadn't seen in a while and that was fun.
Do you have those friends? The ones that you very seldom ever see even though you've known them since childhood, but the connection is always there? When you finally do get together it's as if you'd seen them yesterday (except for the fact that you're talking a mile a minute catching up?) She is one of those.
We had a yummy lunch (a sandwich called "wicked chicken". Seriously. That's the name. SO good.) and checked out some occasional sales, another thing neither of us had done in a while. Didn't buy much really - she got a vintage suitcase and my find was a cute little sunburst mirror (I'll take a picture and show you sometime) - but it was fun just meandering around and looking.

Just so you don't wonder what's up, I'll let you know in advance that my posts and blog visits will be sporadic, at best, this week. :-( "regularly schedule programming" should resume next week. :-)
