ASUS Releases N20A,
ASUS' new 12" N20A is a fully fledged ultraportable laptop and features specs that are a decided step up from your average netbook. First, there is actually an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. There is also a 12.1" WXGA display and a DVD burner. You can choose from among several Core 2 Duo chips, get up to 4GB RAM and up to a 320GB HDD. It also comes with an integrated webcam and card reader and plenty of ports, including HDMI and eSATA. Unfortunately you do have to settle for integrated GMA X4500HD graphics though. We're hearing initial pricing of around $999. Interestingly digitimes recently announced that ASUS is coming out with a new ZX line of 12" notebooks. Sounds like somebody might have gotten their letters mixed up, but maybe this means ASUS is going to get hot and heavy with the 12" notebook line and release another one soon? Via slashgear
